Womenswear Spring/Summer 2022
Rocaille
The Rocaille Women's Collection Spring/Summer 2022 was born from inspiration drawn from the inner courtyard of the Palazzo Sacrati, a historic building dating back to the 16th century located in Reggio Emilia, characterized by Baroque elements and a romantic atmosphere.
Careful observation of the courtyard and its forms gave rise to the idea of a "treasure chest," symbolized by the three access doors.
This concept led to research on locks and keys, resulting in a collection that embraces the Baroque and Rococo styles, with curved lines, complex and asymmetrical shapes, and a pastel color palette.
The main inspiration comes from the dresses worn by iconic figures of the period, such as Marie Antoinette and Madame de Pompadour.
This period is known for its elegance, refinement, and use of decorative details such as frills, ruffles, bows, ribbons, and lace, elements that are reflected in the creations of this collection.
The collection is aimed at a young woman, ages 18 to 25, who embraces her femininity fearlessly and loves the romantic aesthetic.
Pastel colors are inspired by the era and palace architecture, while summery fabrics, including satin, chiffon, organza, mikado and cady, give softness and fluidity to the garments, contrasting with corsets and rigid understructures.
The collection offers a balance of fitted and loose-fitting garments, various volumes and colors, creating harmony in apparent excess. Wide bell sleeves, sleeveless
