CATERINA CARANI

My name is Caterina Carani, I am 22 years old and from Reggio Emilia. 

From a young age, I was always passed on a strong love for art and fashion, which became the most authentic way to express myself. My academic path led me from Milan to Paris, allowing me to put my passions into action.

I consider fashion not only a craft, but a true art form, a way to give voice to creative and original ideas. My strong aesthetic sensibility and acquired technical skills have allowed me to develop complex projects, from manual sketches to digital designs, from the choice of fabrics to the realization of the final garment.

The skills that set me apart include the ability to conduct in-depth thematic research, product development, textile research, detailed hand and technical drawings to scale, fabric manipulation, embroidery and print making, prototyping and sewing to turn ideas into concrete realities. I also possess a good command of the moulage technique on mannequin and an established ability to use the Adobe package.

I am a resourceful, determined and creative person. I am not afraid of sacrifices and am willing to make efforts to build my career in the fashion world.
